Eastroad

About

Eastroad are a hard hitting, in yer' face, Pop Punk Rock band from London. Brothers, Rob and Will plus Ben are 3 likely lads who write, eat, sleep, and perform together. Eastroad bring a raucous fun show together with camaraderie and an infectious sense of humour, where the audience becomes the 4th member of the band.

The Eastroad message is simple – be yourself and be proud of who you are. Individuality is a beautiful thing and should be encouraged. Our aim is to tell people to be themselves and not be afraid of being different in a world that encourages people to conform – and outcasts people who don't.

Eastroad have performed around the country and have been well received at established venues and festivals. From London's 100 Club to the Greenfields of Glastonbury, Eastroads live performances continue to emit a fresh new energy that knows no bounds. Over the short time they have been together they have been privileged to work with major artists such as OPM, Midge Ure, Roland Gift, David Ford, Eddie and The Hot Rods as well as sharing the bill with names such as U2, Muse and Bruce Springsteen.

Former Creation Records CEO and industry mogul Alan McGee said "I love Eastroad, they have really great songs!"

London promoters Crucial Music stated "Eastroad are the best band to come out of Camberwell since Florence and the Machine!"

In 2012 Eastroad worked in the studio with the producer of Reuben's break through album "Racecar is Racecar Backwards" to create their EP "Sexy Beast". The record single "Full Metal Jacket" recieved radio play throughout the UK whilst the band gigged extensively and completed a small tour. In late 2013 the band recorded their single "Timebomb" with London producer Joe Kearns and the sound they are now creating is catchy, fresh, and exciting.

Their song "Run My Life" highlights the importance of not conforming to what society, parents, or peers may wish you to be, being proud and confident with who you really are and being conscious that the world has room for everybody – this is the mindset that is required for a world of creative influential individuals… Have you ever been told not to style your hair like that? Or not to wear that type of clothing? Or that it might be best to not pursue a certain career? We say "Think for yourself" and "Be the best that you can be by making your own decisions".

So how can you embrace our message? You can wear those jeans you really want to, style your hair that colour you always wanted to, say what music you like, and not be afraid to say what you think!
