Joseph Rogers was brought up on the music of Elvis Presley & Queen from the early age of 4. He started playing drums at a very early age and continued to play drums for 15 years and utilised this skill on his studies at Richmond Upon Thames College where he studied 'Music Technology'. The influences of Elvis Presley, Paul McCartney, John Lennon, Robert Plant, Freddie Mercury & Mick Jagger finally took over and he joined a Beatles tribute band where he taught himself to sing and play guitar, bass & piano… His influences include: Buddy Holly Johnny Cash Roy Orbison Paul Simon The Beatles The Who Pink Floyd Led Zeppelin The Rolling Stones… Since then, he has become a solo artist and has started writing his own songs after being influenced by songwriters such as: Lennon/McCartney Johnny Cash Paul Simon Bob Dylan Pete Townshend… Venues he has played at include: – Proud Camden, London – The Troubadour, London – The Alleycat, London – The Cavern Club, Liverpool – New Cross Inn, London – Cafe 1001, London – The Spice of Life, London – The Islington, London
