Kristofer

About

Kristofer is a pop and soul artist from Brighton. Inspired by powerhouse vocalists such as Whitney Houston, Christina Aguilera, Prince and Michael Jackson;…he grew up singing all day every day, with a genuine passion for music becoming evident from a young age. As his talent developed, classic rock influences began to shape his sound, and his training as a musical theatre performer added depth and tone to his vocals. Being an openly gay artist, he is focused on building his career as a musician whilst being a positive advocate for the LGBT community, and often touches on LGBT and mental health issues in his songwriting. Kristofer wishes to challenge the masculine stereotypes of what it means to be a man. Kristofer has been working with writer and producer Simon Brown and the seasoned team at Charthouse Music. He writes and records with local producer Glenn Dallender who has written for some incredible performers including Jay Henry, The Voice; vocal coach and former backing singer for Luther Van Dross. Most recently, Kristofer has recorded a song with Andy Vickery, guitarist for the recording artist Nao.
