Single Launch // Plain Sails
Making their mark on the London rock scene is four piece contemporary band Plain Sails. Member’s Andrew, Leigh, Andy and Jack have been forging their contemporary Indie sound since 2013 drawing from an eclectic range of influences including mid to late 90’s Britpop.
Their diverse backgrounds and versatile range of influences afford a sound which boasts explosive energy without neglecting the importance of a gripping melody line and lyrics of sincere sentimentalism. Their latest singles ‘Don’t Suffer by Yourself’ and ‘Carousel’ are evident products of this developed creativity as a unit. You can hear it in the flesh this August 26th as they headline renowned North London venue - Camden Assembly. Expect a range of music for the night as they are supported by self christened ‘family of renegades' - The Crooked Kings, Jessie J and Jess Glynne collaborator – Priz and 21 year old hip-hop artist- Isaac Samuel.
"Characterful and melismatic, a unique lyrical take on a perennial story deeply set in a distinctly british indie-pop texture – looking forward to more from these guys!" - Anthony Lim, Premier Mastering
"A band's unique thing is its chemistry , Plain Sails have got this right and working with them was such a breeze . They are at a stage where their emotional depth and ability have come together to create classic British rock." - Alan Bleay, Arclite productions
