Proud is one of the most prestigious, beautiful and characterful venues in London. The former horse hospital is in the heart of Camden, on the main strip amidst the winding passages of the stables market. The market itself has been re-generated by Philip Green (Topshop/Aracadia group) and is a bustling behemoth of bohemian culture with vintage clothing shops and record stores.
The venue has played host to huge events with some of the biggest acts in the country and they have a hugely flexible space with 3 rooms, VIP stables, each one individually and stylishly dressed with classic rock n roll photography adorning the walls.
In recent months the venue has hosted shows for Florence and the Machine, The Kooks, The Libertines, The Enemy, Razorlight, The Sunshine Underground, Kitty Daisy and Lewis, Mark Ronson, Daniel Merriweather, Pete Doherty, Amy Winehouse, Professor Green, Graham Coxon, Dirty Pretty Things and The View.
Along with the music and entertainment the night boats, 3 bars, a restaurant, a HUGE smoking terrace with deckchairs, tables and a bar, 7 boutique VIP stables, all of which are individually dressed including stages, karaoke, pole dancing poles, flat screen TVs, Singstar and Guitar-Hero. The venue also has table football, a pinball machine, pool table, darts and much much more.
