The Flashmen - Garage rock ska band from and based in north london comprised of four dashing flashmen.
Hailing from East London, Nat and the Noise Brigade make eclectic, upbeat tunes infested with brass, flutes, and whatever else they can get their hands on.
The songs are substantial and irreverent in equal doses, with lyrical content bouncing from environmental destruction and gender roles to being late and the colour blue. Mixing up the set with varying versions and arrangements, whilst chucking in a cover here and there, no two Nat and the Noise Brigade performances are identical!
London's most exciting and unpredictable band. Have you ever heard a fierce boogie-woogie number about the badger cull? How about an up-tempo gospel number calling for Ainsley Harriott's return to television? Storming around the UK like a bull in a china shop, The Moscow Trip have ripped up the rulebook about what a live music act can and should do.
Formed in October 2009 and with lofty aspirations, the Giants have been busy pounding dance floors with their raucous, feel-good, highly-addictive shows. With another epic summer of festivals already in the bag for 2014 including Glastonbury, Bestival, Boomtown and a tour of Ireland, it seems that many more people will be enjoying their unique sound - a mongrel blend of indie, reggae, hip hop and blues. !
We're the Big Steal and we play our own brand of Folk/Punk. In our short time playing together we've released 'Evan Williams Nights', our very first 10-track, available for free from thebigsteal.bandcamp.com. It's self-produced...most of it was written whilst living in Virginia and is about a turbulent but brilliant year spent with some blinking great people. There are songs about running, self-loathing, getting better and the magic of American lawn games.
Nuclear Weasels are an exciting new band playing a mixture of indie rock, and ska. With a powerful, infectious and dynamic live sound, they entertain audiences wherever they go, gaining fans and support along the way. Their first demo "All My Life" received numerous praise from BBC Introducing and has since been played on regular occasions. By gigging around the local scene relentlessly in the early years they have created a strong and loyal fanbase.
Upbeat acoustic ska, combined with elements of Punk, Rap, Rock and Indie. Expect an energetic performance and an all round fun, sing-a-long show.
Flat 24/7 is the colourful, dance- able, alternative indie vibe of three born and bred derby lads, a lovely lady from Leicester and a groovy French drummer. Beginning in early 2013 with acoustic, student hall, through the night jamming, singer Jamie and guitarist Ian found an intricate sound with gritty, soulful vocals and an ear grabbing sense of ease.
