In 2016 (under the alias ‘Influence’) BlackSmith had two songs on world renowned jazz artist ‪‪Billy Cobham‬’s album Drum n Voice Vol 4. His songs ‘Superstar’ and ‘Le Lis’ (Radio Vocal) featured ‘Gregg Kofi Brown’ from the Award Winning British Afrobeat band ‪Osibisa‬. The album reached  #1 on the iTunes Jazz Charts in several countries. ‬

Chris is launching his new E.P. ‘Love Letters’ on ‪Friday March 23rd 2018‬ with a launch event at The Hospital Club in Covent Garden, London. On the night he’ll be backed by a live band and brass section.
The Love Letters EP includes collaborations with 3 top producers including 2x Grammy Award-winning producer Mahogany Beatz (‪Dr Dre‬, ‪Mariah Carey‬, ‪Jay Z‬)
