Blind Atlas

About

Blind Atlas is a blend of post-space-rock with a generous helping of 60s opuses, a sprinkling of 90s indie all wrapped in a warm 70s Fuzz. The Anglo-American roots were grown in Manchester as Colorado born Ross linked up with Pete and bonded over grey skies, cheap ale and playing raw-and-ready rock n roll. After the critical acclaim of their debut album Kodiak Bear, they headed to the bright lights of London. The new quartet has been completed by Andrew and Takaco both experienced on eclectic indie scenes of Osaka and Tokyo. This new fusion has launched Blind Atlas from their country rock roots and into rocket fuelled space rock territory. "Kodiak Bear brooding and reflective. Hints of Exile on Maine Street, Calexico and Frontier Ruckus." [Classic Rock Magazine: 7/10]
