Chernobyl Sunshine Club are a five piece Indie/Alt Folk band who formed in London in late 2016. Coming from very musical backgrounds they have a wide range of influences from Folk, Indie, Rock, Metal, Jazz and Classical which they often blend into their music.

Since they started they have been busy on the London music scene playing venues such as The o2 Academy2 Islington, The Monarch, The Fiddlers Elbow and one of their favorite regular venues to play, The St Moritz Club in Soho, where they had their first ever show.

They draw in a very lively crowd who often cause a scene with their exuberant involvement with the music, joining in with the infectious vocal melodies and foot stomping choruses, which makes for a great show.

What sets them apart is their sound. As long time musicians they take what they do very seriously, but there’s an inherent, and dark playfulness in everything they produce, and the contrasting influences mix together in the music to create something truly unique.
