Crazed

About

Crazed is a rapper from County Galway in the west of Ireland. His music is a hybrid of genres, with
Hip-Hop as its root. With his backing band, he raps over sounds from Pop to Metal. The lyrical
content ranges from parodying life in Galway to the Book of Revelation, setting himself apart from
your average Irish rapper. Crazed’s sound is influenced by artists including Eminem, Xzibit, LL Cool J
and mixes it with Avenged Sevenfold, Disturbed and ACDC. This strange mix of artists helped him
create his own style.
Crazed has recently released an EP, November 2016 and a single, July 2017 called Late July, available
on Spotify. After this release, he played a number of Edinburgh open mics while living there through
August. His focus for 2018 is to start playing as much gigs as possible both solo and with his backing
band.
Starting in 2012, Crazed began recording songs in the Forge Recording Studio over backing tracks
very regularly. He then released the album in May 2014. In 2015, began putting together his own
backing band which he called The Crazed Family. In 2016, he ditched the backing tracks for an
acoustic guitar player, Darragh O’Brien. That summer, Crazed supported Saul Williams with Darragh
in the Roisin Dubh, Galway. In November 2016, he released a 5 track EP called 4dabeourz with the
full band. In 2017, Crazed and Darragh supported The Rubberbandits in the Roisin Dubh. That
summer, he released his most recent single, Late July and released it on Spotify a couple weeks later.
