Dr Bird started as a solo acoustic project for Bobby Tarlton to get out there and sing his own songs to anyone who would listen. Dr Bird, as a band, came together in April 2015, and have already built up a good following by playing at such venues as The Pack & Carriage in Euston, The Ealing Blues Club, The Fiddler’s Elbow in Kentish Town and The Stow Fest. They have played support slots for The Chords UK, The Scene and French Boutik, amongst others, and headlined several of their own shows.

As of today, Dr Bird is a five-piece combo, playing Bobby’s Mod-inspired form of English Pop Soul Pub Rock.
