I was born in Hackney, East London and brought up listening to my father’s love of soul music, it was soon very clear that I was about to start a self-awakening journey into the music industry at a young age. With my Dad, Tony T being a member of the successful 90’s group ‘Benz’ and then ‘Phats & Small’, music and singing runs through my blood and I was introduced to professional recording at just 13.
Influenced by the likes of Chris Brown, Stormzy, Frank Ocean and Krept & Konan, I feel my musical journey is becoming one of self-discovery and innovation.
In the past year I have spent time in the studio with veteran songwriter and producer, Martin West (Romans, Estelle, Sinitta, Mark Hill) and have already produced a near finished album, as yet untitled, and my debut E.P release , ‘No.1 Contender’was released independently to digital stores in September 2017.
I have performed at 25 gigs and showcases over the past year ranging from small industry events to 4000 people at Wembley SSE and was awarded ‘Street Musician of the Year’ at the 2017 London Lifestyle Awards.
My aims this year are to perform at the larger events and festivals to raise my profile further which is why I would love to be considered for this year’s New Blood competition at the Isle of Wight Festival.
