Kat Reyes

About

Kat Reyes is a singer-songwriter hailing from Stoke Newington, London. She began her music career at the age of 15 in a school band. As a shy teenager, she tried her hand at music production whilst at college but soon realized she belonged to the stage.

Influenced by artists such as Bob Dylan, Lou Reed and The Smiths, she taught herself to play the guitar at the age of 17. It wasn’t long before she began writing her own songs and gigging around London. She has since managed to bag slots on the stages of some of the capital's most well renowned underground venues, including Proud Camden, the Shacklewell Arms, the Barfly and the Finsbury. Her sound, a mixture of folk, rock and dreamy vocals, has been very well received by Londoners.
