Lunafruit is a dynamic soul-pop trio from London. The project is the brainchild of Elliot Wenman, Archie Henderson and Sophie Grant, three 24-year-olds who met whilst working as session musicians at a studio in South London, and have continued writing together ever since. With members spread between London and Barcelona during production stages of their forthcoming album, the trio have drawn inspiration from the vibrant jazz scenes of South London and Barcelona. This has also meant they’ve had to adopt an unconventional creative process that relies on close friendship, creative trust and technology.

Taking influence from RnB, pop and jazz artists like Jordan Rakei, Vulfpeck, Lianne La Havas, Robert Glasper, Hiatus Kaiyote, and Snarky Puppy, their sound is fresh, uplifting and soulful. They introduced their project with their playful debut single ‘Superhero’ in April 2018, followed by the thoughtful summer groove ‘Rise’ in June 2018. With their new EP release fast approaching, they’re set to take summer 2019 by storm.
