Biog – Lydia Singer
Lydia has had 3 Club Chart Top 20 hits in 7 months with Push Bang Bang reaching No. 09 in the charts.
Lydia Singer is an extremely talented up-coming singer-songwriter who began her singing career at the age of 9 when she entered her first singing competition and won leading to her following this up with a performance at the Milton Keynes Theatre.
In 2013/2014 Lydia collaborated with producer Charles Foskett and songwriter Rod Davis, who has written for Kylie Minogue, on her first original solo tracks including her first single “Meteor”.

During 2015 Lydia performed at Ronnie Scott’s giving her the first opportunity to sing with a big band and Lydia was also invited to sing for Dame Cleo Laine at a private function staged in her garden.

Lydia’s been recording acoustic covers and working on her own material with producers Simon Brown at Jamie Sellers and now has a catalogue of work for future releases

Lydia has been a frequent performer on BBC Cambridge Introducing section and performed live on BBC Three Counties. MKFM, Secklow Sessions, Vibe FM, Wandsworth Radio, Riviera FM, and Hype Radio.

Lydia embarked on a national campaign to release her first original single, together with 6 re-mixes by some very well-known Mixers, and reached No.16 in the Music Week Club charts Wk 41. Lydia also performed live during the House of iKons show, London Fashion Week 2016, which was televised to 79 countries.

Lydia’s second release Wreckless reached No. 15 in the Music Week Club charts and, with Lydia sealing the hat trick with her third Club Chart success, Push Bang Bang reaching No. 09.

‘Just Being 15’ was Lydia’s first EP release in July 2017 and two further singles, ‘Out of Control’ and ‘Truth Hurts’, are being promoted on BBC Introducing Cambridge for the remainder of 2017. ‘Rebellious Teens’ , Lydia’s second EP, is due for release in Feb 2018.

Frequent television appearances on the ShowCase Channel, Sky TV includes the Tell Vanessa show and Britrox TV.
Gigs include the following London music venues: O2 Islington, Borderline, Notting Hill Arts Club, Cargo Shorditch, UnderBelly Hoxton, BoxPark Shoreditch & Croydon, The Bedford Balham

16 year old Lydia’s next big track, already on BBC Introducing, and ‘Track of the Week’ on numerous community stations already.
Lydia will be supporting Carla Paoli at Cadogan Hall, London, on 15th February in the Tring Park 16 Choir (featured in the finals of Pitch Battle last summer on ITV and previous winners of BBC Songs of Praise school choir of the year 2016) and will be performing at both House of iKons London Fashion Week shows on 17th February. In May Lydia is due support, in an historic tour of China, Leee John (Imagination), Stedman Pearson (Five Star) and Mary-Jess (China X Factor winner equivalent).
