Miki Rose is a singer songwriter currently based in both London and Los Angeles whose sound is comprised of soulful melodies, R&B harmonies, with a touch of electronic elements. Although Miki Rose is originally from Brighton, England, she grew up in different parts of the world with her family including Paris, Kuala Lumpur, and Dallas. Miki Rose attended Berklee College Of Music in Boston on a scholarship, where she studied voice performance, music business, and songwriting.

After graduating early from Berklee, She moved straight to Los Angeles and decided to put vocals on beats that she found on SoundCloud calling them flips. Once Miki released her flip of Stwo(Drake, 6lack)’s "Morphans," she started gaining more traction introducing her to Brighton based producer El. Train(Barney Artist, PippMillet, Jerome Thomas). Miki was featured on El. Train’s “Somewhere In Between” EP, on the lead single “Control” which was remixed by Amsterdam based producer Jengi formally known as Jengi Beats. Grammy winning duo Brasstracks(Chance The Rapper) were also featured on the EP.

After the success of Control, Miki and El. Train decided to release a collab EP together, “Over & Over” was released In September 2015, landing at number 28 on the iTunes UK Charts. “One Step Closer” was the first to be released and was premiered on BBC 1xtra. “Over & Over”, the lead single, was added to Spotify UK’s official playlist, and was also used for UK brand Hush Clothing’s spring 2016 campaign.

Miki’s next project "XOXO",  an EP released on Darker Than Wax, with all production from DTW producers including Giorgio Oehlers, fzpz, silo, and KA-YU. “Replay” was premiered on BBC 1xtra, the lead single “Right There” received a considerable amount of airplay on BBC Radio 1. “XOXO” was named by BBC 1xtra’s Jamz Supernova’s as one of her “TOP 5 EP’s”. The official music video for “Right There” directed by Henry Dean, was premiered on London magazine, TMRW MAG in January 2017.  Miki was featured on U.K. Electronic producer Ozzie's "Aura" EP on the lead single "Close To You" which was released on Hucci's (notable U.K. EDM producer) label titled Vernon Arche. Her song Levels with LAX_ERA was released on Stay Cool Compilations along with DJ Jazzy Jeff, Rhymefest, and Evil Needle.

Miki is currently working on several new collaborations including the upcoming project “Nomad Diaries” – with production from  More // Night,, Sh?m, toolbox, El. Train, Jengi, and Crow. The first three singles (and accompanying music videos) of “Nomad Diaries vol I” have already been released. “Wavy” produced by toolbox was released in October 2018 and was added to Spotify Uk’s R&B UK playlist and premiered on BBC 1XTRA. “Different” produced by El. Train was premiered on BBC 1XTRA, and played on Reprezent and Dash Radio. “Never Give Up” produced by Jengi was released Jan 2019 premiered in the UK on Rinse Fm and on KROQ FM in the US and was added to Spotify’s New Dance Revolution playlist.

Miki has played at multiple venues including; Oslo Hackney, Miranda Ace Hotel Shoreditch, White Post Hackney Wick, The Four Quarters Peckham, Cargo LDN, and several venues in Downtown LA and Hollywood; including The Study, Unplug’d LA, and House of Blues.. She’s performed at festivals like ; BBC Radio Two’s Carfest North, and Carfest South, Peckham Rye Festival, MarVista ArtWalk. She has been a guest on London’s Reprezent Radio, London’s The Beat 103.6 FM, London’s Foundation FM, London’s Roundhouse radio, and Los Angeles Traklife Radio. Her song’s have been played on Radio One, BBC 1xtra, Dash FM, BBC Radio 1, Reprezent Radio, Rinse FM, Dash FM, Westside FM, Worldwide FM, Foundation FM, Expedition Radio, and The Beat London.She has opened for Neyo, Tank, Amerie, Tyrese, Lloyd, Ginuwine, Melanie Fiona, Antonique Smith, and Emmavie.

Miki's songs have accumulated over 1. 7 Million streams on Soundcloud and a million on Spotify.. Her songs have had support from Magestic Causual, Underground Charisma and INFINIT on youtube. She’s had songs featured on Netflix and FreeForm Tv. She been included on editorial playlists such as Apple Music's 'New in R&B' and Apple Music Pop’s' Best of the Week'.. She has been included on Spotify’s RnB UK playlist and Spotify UK’s playlist. She is also frequent collaborator with Spotify Secret Genius Studios in Los Angeles and London.
