MOTHER

About

Billed as one of ‘the most exciting Oxford acts breaking through right now’ (Future Perfect Promotions); MOTHER are Josh & Sam Alden, Danny Fisher & Everton Barbato.

Produced by Mark Gardener (frontman of Oxford shoegaze legends Ride), the quartet’s debut 5-track EP ‘Remnants Of A Wasted Dream’ has been championed by BBC Introducing Oxford with numerous plays week on week and a feature length interview with the boys in the BBC Radio Oxford studio.

MOTHER have been extremely active on the circuit in recent months, supporting high profile acts both new and old; such as October Drift, The Bluetones & The Strypes, in addition to bagging the main support slot at local Oxford hero Willie J Healey’s sellout hometown headline show at the O2 Academy. MOTHER also opened up the O2 Academy for Oxford’s first Ritual Union Festival, playing alongside Toy, Bo Ningen, Black Honey and headliners Peace.

On February 1st 2018, MOTHER sold out their first hometown headline show at renowned Oxford venue The Cellar.

As MOTHER continue to bring their shimmering (often blistering) live show to venues across the southern UK, they look forward to a hectic and exciting year ahead.
