Internationally recognized recording artists and musicians, David Ralston and Merry have created their own brand of music, self-described as "Okinawa Americana Music.” Integrating influences from Japan to Brazil to America’s heartland, World Music to Blues, Country, Folk, and Roots Rock, they successfully illustrate that “The world of music is not just changing, it has changed.” David Ralston Guitarist, singer-songwriter David Ralston, born in Indiana (U.S.) has called Okinawa, Japan home for 25 years. Proof of David’s undeniable talent is his work with Delaney Bramlett (Eric Clapton producer). Prior to his passing, Delaney came out of retirement to produce and mentor David at his Los Angeles-based home studio for a two-week experience of a lifetime. Delaney spoke the truth when he said in 1999, "The world is going to hear a lot from David Ralston.” Merry Gushi Multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter, Merry was born in Okinawa, Japan. She learned Sanshin from her grandmother and began writing songs in high school, where earned the Excellence Award in the Yaeyama classic folk song contest.
