About

Olandra is a vocalist, songwriter and music producer, girl partial to pianos and guitars. Her debut album Look Out was released last autumn.

Her music fuses alternative rock, dark folk, indie pop and jazz soundscapes together. Poetic lyrics are combined with an emotional and penetrating voice mixed with dark and ominous drums as well as strings, grand piano and electric guitars. As emotion and authenticity are most important to her, she tries to write in a way for her music to ‘move the listener’s soul’. She believes in the importance of lyrics and simple, yet skilfully crafted melodies. This might be where the worlds of Jeff Buckley, Agnes Obel, Nick Cave and PJ Harvey meet.

Olandra played in various, renown Warsaw venues. With her strings duo she performed during the international series of concerts Sofar Sounds and supported i.a. Julia Marcell in a prestigious club Blue Note in Poznan.
