About

I started my project 3 years ago on the streets of Tenerife. I arrived there with 18 euros, a bag of clothes and a phone, unable to speak Spanish. I fouynd a nasty guitar for 16 euros and the rest they say, is history.

I am 38 years old on my next birthday,I speak 6 languages well enough (not including music) and I have been to almost all countries in Europe. While I only began this project 3 years ago, I was given my first guitar for my 6th birthday so, I have been playing for most of my life. I am self taught having only had 3 lessons when I was 12yrs old.

I pay attention to what is happening out in the world and try to reflect that in the lyrics to my songs and, while I like to keep things lively, there is always at least one important point behind the lyrics. I grew up surrounded by nature and have done what I can to stay within it during my life. While I see people take it all for granted on a daily basis, I do what I can to keep myself on a balanced plain where I don’t use more than I need or create more than I have to.

Music is my life. My guitar is my boomerang. By this I mean that music has always been there for me. Whether I am chasing down the line of the wave, driving down the autobahn in Germany or sailing across the ocean, I always have music playing to suite the moment. My boomerang is my guitar as no matter what I do to it, it always comes back to me and has always been there for me. I have set fire to 3 of them, I have put my foot through 2 of them, I have thrown 4 into oncoming traffic and trains. Yet the guitar always comes back to me, it is my boomerang. Now though, as of 3 years ago, I will not throw it away again. Music is what I am here to do and so music is what I am going to do.
