Pretty Cartel are a 5 piece Indie/Rock n Roll/Mod from the City of Belfast. Formed in 2012 the bands first single “The Busker” became an instant hit on local radio , and went on to be the soundtrack for the BackinBelfast campaign on TV/Radio and online. The band Released Tales of the working class – Their Debut EP In 2013 with stand out tracks receiving critical acclaim from Belfast and the mainland. This led the band to playing gigs with “Embrace” and “From The Jam” aswell as getting across to The Cavern Club Liverpool for sold out shows, and playing Man City Etihad Stadium Fan Park for MCTV.
The band went on to release their debut album “Subbuteo Balls and Rockstars” which again was well received and brought the band back to Liverpool for another show in the Cavern Club and sell out shows across Northern Ireland.
Pretty Cartel released their 2nd EP in 2017 titled “Saturdays Kicks” and then took . a break from touring and playing.
2019 sees their return . They are currently working on their 2nd Album, and have released the comeback single “You Don’t Belong” which is once again seeing the band receive radio play in their hometown and the mainland again.2019 is looking an exciting year for PC.
