Formed in April 2012, Raggamuffin is a folk/reggae act born in East London. We have spent the past year writing music and playing gigs around London and are currently working on our debut album "Monkeys". We pride ourselves on imaginative songwriting and high energy live shows, which consist of original songs combining the various musical influences brought by each member of the band. Although we call our genre "folk/reggae" there are influences of soul, grime, pop and funk involved in the music. We began as a three-piece acoustic act. but have grown in numbers since the beginning, we now consist of drums, guitar, three vocals and saxophone although some members are part time. We like to party.
