Sally Caitlin

About

Sally Caitlin is a singer-songwriter from Manchester, UK, who creates electronic pop with heartfelt, autobiographical lyrics. Her songs are written about her experiences, giving her music an honesty that is not always seen in pop music. She has been writing songs since the age of 15 and released her first single, Stuck In Limbo, in 2015 following her graduation from university.

‘The production is superb, the songwriting blisteringly good, the voice powerful and authentic, the artist legitimately fascinating. ‘Experiments’ is an astonishing EP from an audacious and spine-tingling artist.’ Reyt Good Music Magazine

The title of the latest EP, Experiments, has a triple meaning, referring to: the experimentation with styles on the record, the experimental nature of growing up and making mistakes and also a reference to the Chemistry degree Sally completed before pursuing music. It is a conceptual EP in essence, with a narrative woven between the tracks appearing if you listen to the tracks in order. The wide range of genres that influenced Experiments is obvious, resulting in a varied and mature selection of electronic pop songs with an edge.

Caitlin was one of five finalists in the Pure Radio’s Finest Competition 2016 and all five tracks from the Experiments EP were semi-finalists in the UK Songwriting Contest 2016. More information can be found at sallycaitlin.com or by following Sally on social media.
