Sub Couple are a London based band who play psych edged rock n roll. They formed when singer Dave Tomlinson (XC-NN, Tin Star) went to Los Angeles in 2007 to visit old mate (drummer and now film producer) Chris Clark for a little vacation.
In the kitchen of a house in Laurel Canyon (where the seeds of Easy Rider were written) and imbibing the vibes from the ghost of Dennis Hopper they began to play. Dave returned to London with a cassette 4 track and a fistful of tunes. Along with Hands Randall on bass and Chris's brother Paul on guitar they took their tunes to the clubs of London.Two self released albums later with a beat 100 no.1 video plus plays on Mark Radcliffe's radio show Sub Couple bring their psych garage vibes to melt you.
