Suburban 100

About

Suburban 100 are a rock 'n' roll four piece who have already burst out of the blocks, having headlined three of their first five London dates and releasing their debut E.P 'The Sun Rises in the East' within months of their formation in London last year.

The band draw from an eclectic range of influences to create a sound that ranges from raw and frenetic garage rock akin to early Jam and the Clash through to more melodic and psychedelic anthems awash with reverb-soaked guitars and drawn out instrumentals. Lyrical inspiration is drawn from the band's own experiences of living and loving in modern Britain, with tales of a nightclub rendezvous interspersed with more ambitious decrees against 9-5 drudgery which sound like a call to arms. Their vibrant and energetic live shows have drawn a small following in the capital, thanks in part to the charismatic swagger of frontman Terry Withers.

Headline slots have included memorable nights at the O2 Academy Islington and Brick Lane's Vibe Bar, while the band also played their first festival this summer at Willow Fest in Peterborough.

With a number of new songs and single release in the pipeline, 2015 promises to be an exciting year for Suburban 100.
