About

Tony Andrews is an English singer-songwriter born in Finsbury Park, North London.
He’s been the front man in a couple of Rock bands
“The Blue Raccoons” and “Crazy River”
He is now enjoying the freedom of being a solo artist. Tony works with some great musicians when he records in the studio.
Tony learned how to play the Harmonica while driving a skip lorry all over the streets of London. Many of his songs are influenced by his personal experiences in life. Tony loves writing original songs. He loves being an artist. There are writers in his family tree. His great great granddad wrote King Kong.

Tony has also just finished writing a book.

Tony loves using quirky wordplay in his songs. He has written quite a few new ones lately.
His favourite music is Rock, Blues, Acoustic Guitar Music, Soul, Dance, Americana and Country.
Tony’s favourite artists are ……….John Lennon, Sam Cooke, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Prince, Van Morrison, John Legend, Neil Young, Marvin Gaye, Levon Helm, Jimi Hendrix, Robin Thicke, Little Richard, Mississippi John Hurt, Bobby Bland, David Bowie, Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, Rod Stewart, Dolly Parton, Ray Davis, Santo and Johnny, Bruce Springsteen, Smokey Robinson, Ray Lamontagne, Tom Waits, Wilson Pickett, Bob Dylan, Brian Wilson and Bob Marley.

Tony’s favourite bands are The Band, Led Zep, The Foo Fighters, AC DC, The Beatles, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Santana, The Who, The Stones, The Kinks, The Beach Boys, Tenacious D, Creedence Clearwater Revival and Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac.
