Urb Scrunting

Urb Scrunting is a singer songwriter living in Croydon who writes tragic and comic folk songs influenced by experiences of living in London, books and documentaries, and fantastical creations. Performances are solo acoustic or accompanied by clarinetist Will Strange and backing singer Rowena Ganguli. Urb's song "Sainsburys Brixton Local," was given page 3 coverage in The South London Press in July 2007 and was played on Resonance FM. Urb also sings covers from some of his favourite artists including Neil Young, The Police, Bob Dylan and Christy Moore. Several of his songs are widely available for download and streaming from sites such as I tunes, Spotify and Amazon and he performs regularly at pubs and clubs across London.
