Whiskey Lies are a Hard Rock Band from South Wales. The band formed back in 2013 – The Band consists of Chris Morris Lead Vocals/Guitar, Chris Jones – Lead Guitar/Backing Vocal, Kyle Reid – Bass, Ryan Glenton – Drums. The band have been touring all around the U.K and have played venues such as the 02 academies, The Tramshed Cardiff, The Globe Cardiff, Donnington park and many more. The band have 2 E.Ps released ‘Don’t Think’ and ‘Nothing in Our Way’. They recently supported modern rock n roll icons The Treatment in Bridgend which blew the roof off! They have supported many bands at the globe and have gone down so well they keep having them back. Recently the band have been in the studio recording their latest single called ‘You Know Who’ which is one of their best songs to date and its even had the privilege and honour to have been put on BBC Radio Wales, not only heard in Wales and the U.K but in New York City which fans throughly enjoyed! The band’s musical influences include bands such as Guns N’ Roses, AC/DC, Aerosmith, Def Leppard and Whitesnake. As well as drawing influence from classic bands, they are also greatly influenced by many of the modern rock bands of today such as The Darkness, The Treatment, Airbourne, Santa Cruz ETC. Whiskey Lies’ sound is pure rock n roll with cranked Marshall Amps at the power stage! Their music is a mind blowing shockwave at a time where Rock ‘n’ Roll lacks attitude and definition. With an arsenal of feel good Rock ‘n’ Roll anthems, raunchy and riff driven powerhouses, huge solos and passionate ballads, the band are truly diverse at what they do. Their goal is to bring Rock ‘n’ Roll music back to the masses and capture an audience of all ages with their youthful energy.
