Today’s FRESH FIND is Lilo

Lilo, a talented recording artist hailing from London, draws inspiration from a diverse range of musical influences including Elton John, Dua Lipa, Michael Kiwanuka, Lana Del Rey, Taylor Swift, and Coldplay. Originally from Yorkshire, Lilo made the leap to London in August 2021 to pursue her music career full-time.

In her early days, Lilo honed her craft by frequenting Open Mic nights across London, where she not only built her network but also gained confidence in her performances. As she released singles and gained traction in the music scene, Lilo set her sights on creating a full-length album, which she completed late last year.

Currently, Lilo has unveiled two captivating singles from her debut album: “December” and “I Don’t Wanna Feel.” Her live performances, backed by her band, take place at esteemed venues such as the o2 Academy, Camden Assembly, and the Bedford, showcasing her dynamic stage presence and captivating vocals. Alongside her performances, Lilo remains actively engaged in promoting her singles, directing music videos, and keeping her followers updated on social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram, where she shares gig announcements, new music releases, and snippets of her songwriting and performances.

Lilo’s latest track, “You’re Coming Over,” is a haunting exploration of love and obsession. With intense melodies and evocative lyrics, the song delves into the conflicting emotions of desire and guilt.
