Sam Lord and Joe Woolf; the cheeky, dynamic duo who together, form ‘Lord and the Woolf.’ Their original perspective and raw attitude give music a breath of fresh air. Since 2017, the boys have been engulfed in their creative process. Countless sleepless nights of recording, writing and experimenting have been elemental in discovering their own sound. Now, This Manchester Duo is READY to take on the industry.

Joe, a graduate from Salford University’s ‘Popular Music and Recording’ course has honed his skills to become more experimental and creative within his writing and recording. Without pressure from labels or management, honesty shines through his work. For the band, Joe is the lead singer, guitarist and writes for drums, piano and strings.

Sam has been about the music scene for a number of years as a successful bass and synth player, for acts including Aquilo, Shy Luv & Chappaqua Wrestling. His insight into the music industry has given him a thirst to release the music that he has helped co-create, and co-front; ‘Lord and the Woolf.’ Having performed at some distinguished festivals (Glastonbury), TV Shows (Late Night W/ Seth Meyers) and international tours (UK, USA & Europe), Sam is eager to take this band to higher places.

2019 sees the formation of the full 5 piece band to take their exciting compositions to the stage. The full stage of incredible musicians; Ben Porter (Guitar), Edd Gallyot (Keys) and Adam Hargreaves (Drums), promises a stunning live show.
