Isle of Wight Festival are once again pledging to support emerging talent by teaming up with HOT VOX to find THREE talented new artists to perform at the festival.
We're proud to announce that this year we'll be searching for artists to perform on three stages across the legendary festival!!
If that's not enough, we'll also be giving away 4 days studio recording courtesy of Powerstudio London, with producer Benny D who has worked with and produced Stormzy, Boy George, Kylie, The Killers, Lily Allen, Robbie Williams, Depeche Mode and many more.
John Giddings (Isle Of Wight Festival / Solo Agency) says "There are so many great unsigned artists out there so this is all about discovering them. It's fantastic to give new bands and new talent the chance to play at one of the biggest festivals of the summer, featuring legendary acts. It really is a once in a lifetime opportunity! Every band in the country should be putting themselves forward for this!"

The Isle Of Wight Festival New Blood Competition is open to all artists and bands throughout the UK. In 2018, over 5000 artists registered to take part, all fighting for a spot at the Live Grand-Final, eager to be crowned the winner and to take a slot at one of the UK's most loved festivals.
There are three ways to make it through to the Grand-Final....
1. The Live Rounds
Out of all the artists that register, only about 100 of the most talented artists will be chosen to go through to the Live Rounds, which will be taking place in Brighton, Portsmouth, Southampton, Bornemouth, Exeter, London and the Isle of Wight.
The Live Rounds consist of three heats: Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals and two huge Live Grand-Finals. This means artists are potentially just three gigs away from playing at Isle of Wight Festival 2019!
Once through to the Live Rounds, there are two ways artists can qualify from the Quarter and Semi-Finals onto the next round...
The Industry Vote
Artists will be judged by music industry guests based on their musicianship, songwriting and fan engagement. This means the winner is chosen based on pure talent and quality. This also guarantees that ALL the artists who perform have the opportunity to play in front of industry professionals, providing them with great exposure and a platform to be noticed.
The Fan Vote
The fans will also get a vote at each gig, helping their favourite artist progress through to the next round to be in with a shot to play at Isle of Wight Festival.
2. The Online Public Vote
The competition is also open to all artists nationwide with an additional online voting element. Artists simply need to encourage their fans to vote for them online using their artist profile at www.hotvox.co.uk/artists. The one artist with the most votes will be fast-tracked straight through to one of the Grand Finals!
3. The Isle of Wight Heat
We will also be holding a very special Isle of Wight Heat to find one worthy 'island band' to be fast-tracked straight through to one of the Grand Finals!
The Grand Finals
Those lucky enough to make it through the Quarter and Semi-Finals will perform at one of TWO huge Grand-Finals in London.
Our special guest judges from the festival will pick one overall winner from each of the two Grand-Finals and both will be given a slot to perform at the Isle of Wight Festival 2019! Legendary producer Benny D will then hand-pick one of these two overall winners to receive 4-days free studio recording at Powerstudios London.
Finally, all remaining Grand-Finalists are still in with a chance of winning a slot at the festival as there will be one Wild Card winner, hand-picked by our industry judges and announced on social media the day after the final show, who will also win the opportunity to perform at Isle of Wight Festival 2019!
