With rumours of next years headliners already being booked, we’ve barley had a chance to reflect on 2014’s Glastonbury weekend – let alone think about 2015!
Some really great performances, this year really lived up to expectations!
Still thinking about last night, with the epic closing set from Kasabian finishing off Glastonbury weekend, playing old and new. Apart from the electrical storm that cut off Rudimental on Friday.
Metallica went down a treat – with artists and fans alike. Jake Bugg saying that he was ‘gutted’ having missed their set, Jack White covering one of their songs in his own performance and Circa Waves joking with the idea of them being joined in their presence on stage.
The Gentlemen Of The Road day stage inside the Avalon Café, was packed out thanks to Mumford & Sons and Haim who together immersed into an intimately beautiful set, full of Fleetwood Mac and Rolling Stones covers. The Gentlemen Of The Road (a label set up by members of Mumford & Sons) was a big hit at this years festival, let alone all the mini festivals they’ve done round the world.
We can’t keep up with all the news, but hopefully this has given you a taster of the glorious Glastonbury. Now to next year…
