Born on London's streets and raised by its punk-jazz underbelly, this high energy 10-piece blend anthemic horn lines with pounding drums, lyrical verse and razor-sharp scratch. Expect big-room originals, supercharged with samples from new school classics, blistering improvised solos and leg-breakingly huge drops. Their relentless live shows have become known as some of London's loudest get-downs.
The sound of dB has already become a favourite of the UK festival scene, having exploded onto stages from Boardmasters to Boomtown & Moovin’ to Ealing Jazz - including making waves with their special closing set for Caravanserai at Bestival 2018. As regular guests of London institutions Roundhouse, Alexandra Palace, The Blues Kitchen and POP Brixton, the band can be relied upon to consistently deliver shows filled with infectious energy. Billings alongside artists such as such as Dub FX, Mr Woodnote, Gypsy Hill, Fanfare Ciocarlia, Youngblood Brass Band and even Super Hans has shown that their genre meld has something for every audience to love. In Autumn 2018 the band will tour their second album ‘Dinner’s Ready’, a culmination of a year’s gigging through which they refined and distilled their unique sound.
