Lyle released a wild record 'Bathing' last year (morningroutine.bandcamp.com), featuring collaborations with Leonard Doob (Morning Routine), Don Sinini (Morning Routine) and Nabihah Iqbal (Ninja Tune), warping together a wide-span of influences, eras and studio sessions. After releasing well-crafted singles ‘Bathing’, ‘You’re The One (feat. Foozool) and ‘Teardrops Fall Like Evian’, Lyle gained frequent airplay from these independent releases on BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra and Asian Network. Lyle recently supported Gruff Rhys (Super Furry Animals) as part of their artist residency at Roundhouse, and currently presents a monthly show on Transmission Roundhouse with his label Morning Routine on first and second Thursday's of the month.
Formed out of the ashes of Revolves, Bitter Lime are an indie rock band from London, comprising of James Thurling, Ben Taylor and Connor Tregidgo. We fuse modern indie and alternative music with undercurrents of classic rock guitar, groovy bass lines and hard hitting drums! In addition to this new amalgamation of sounds, we look to bring a high quality level of showmenship and musicianship to our live sets, making them as immersive, entertaining and compelling as the songs themselves!
Formed in Leeds, UK in 2015, KOYO have fast become a major factor in the city’s burgeoning music scene. A powerful live force, KOYO create sonic spectacles through soaring layers of sound. Based on their electric live performance they were selected to open the BBC Introducing Stage at the 2017 Reading and Leeds festivals, the latter resulting in a mention in the Guardian Online review. In 2018, they followed up with critically acclaimed performances at Rockaway Beach Festival, Live at Leeds, Camden Rocks, Sheffield Tramlines and the Download festival (and favourably reviewed in Prog magazine)
Their eponymous debut album was released in September 2017 to critical acclaim receiving outstanding press reviews in Q Magazine, Classic Rock Magazine, Planet Rock Magazine, Prog Magazine and Louder than War. The album also made the Top 25 albums of 2017 in Classic Rock, Prog Magazine and Louder than War at #24, #19 and #21 respectively.
In 2019 they have toured and played a number of festivals including The Rambling Man Fair and Bingley Weekender. They have just recorded their second album due for release in May 2020 and plan to release a number of singles between now and then – the first of which is Circles.
Domi Hawken is a singer songwriter currently based in London. Having discovered her love for music she moved to Paris where she could pursue her love of language and lyrics.
She initially started her career writing for other performers but after finding her own unique sound she moved to Liverpool where she launched herself as an artist.
Domi’s music has been shaped by living and learning in these great cities. Following the release of her debut single ‘I Will Let You Down’ and a sold out show at The Troubadour in London, Domi is releasing her first EP; a collection of original songs combining driving rhythms and a powerful voice to create a truly unique sound.
