Having established himself as an in-demand young jazz saxophonist, London-based Quinn Oulton’s home-brewed DIY approach sees him singing, producing and recording all instruments in his unique blend of jazz, hip-hop and funk. He brings his distinctive songwriting concoctions to life alongside his explosive powerhouse of a band. His live performances are quickly gaining popularity with their cathartic sense of spontaneity and energy, whilst capturing the honesty and intimacy reflected through his writing.
“A colourful explosion in your face…”
In a grim world; a trio of men donning feathered hats, paisley suits, braces & boots have just descended upon a curious landmark called London Town…
… Acquainting you are Joe, Alex & Freddy - aka Superbird:
A fun-loving, pop-funk power trio gifted for those who wear their guilty pleasures proudly on their sleeves.
Conceptually a cross-pollination of songsmiths: Joe Fin (Lead Vocals, Guitar) & Alex Ash (Drummer, Vocals) - stylistically brought to life with Freddy Sidero (Bassist, Vocals) - Superbird casually fuse together genres in a similar vein to that of Prince, Bowie & Queen.
Concocted in a starry eye dream unto a world that takes itself way too seriously, this tuneful tonic raises a toast to a new era of music; whilst adventuring into an 80’s guitar-pop fantasy rooted with funk n’ roll origins.
A band of genuine peacocks re-defining the term ‘flamboyancy’ with a red-hot live show, entailing wild frontman Joe’s soaring vocal-range and signature leg-kick, enhanced by Alex’s melodic & rhythmical disciplinary - accomplished by the bands “not-so-secret” weapon of funk Freddy.
Superbird will make you happy.
Born In Between Colours (BIBC) is a fresh London-based artist that specialises in enticing, hip hop fuelled music. This Stockholm native infuses traditionally urban leaning music with deliciously dreamy mellow tones. His new release, plane CRASH, calls upon this trademark sound with unique vigour and features Parisian artist Helma, produced & engineered by Skinnyphat Bermz & BIBC.
BIBC’s early years immersed him in his Father’s musical tastes - Koffi Olomide, Phil Collins and Sade among others. Whilst also experiencing a growing love for jazz and blues (thanks to his musically talented Mother and Aunt) BIBC found himself forging his own musical path. After leaving his home country in 2014, BIBC has been carefully refining his craft whilst choosing to ignore the more intoxicating commercial areas of the industry. His first set of releases, including 925 and Untitled, utilise BIBC’s distinctive ability to fuse vocal and electronic influences, as well as the most delicately placed piano lines.
Duke & The Dry Cleaners play a unique blend of funky acid pop, guaranteed to get you moving.
