Simon and the Faulkners are a 5-piece band playing a range of music spanning catchy pop, mellow indie and upbeat rock and funk. The band play mostly original material with a few well-known covers thrown in for good measure. They can be characterised by their catchy lyrics, beautiful melodies and willingness to embrace good music across the genres – and of course guitarist JB’s soaring solos.
They started playing while at university in Oxford together in 2008-2010. After leaving uni, the band members went their separate ways and lived in various parts of the UK and world. But now they have all moved to London and have got the band back together. Simon and the Faulkners consists of Stefan (vocals and rhythm guitar / squeezebox), Jack (sax and vocals), JB (lead guitar), Jon (bass) and Luke (drums).
You can listen to Simon and the Faulkners’ first two EPs – the Jellyfish and the Jellybaby – on Spotify, iTunes and all the other main online libraries and streaming services. You can also follow them on Facebook.
Joshua Zero is writing songs to a romantically autonomous world with honest lyrics struggling with the modernity of love today.
Named after the bands guitarist Jack Sargent, Sargent are a young London based five-piece rock band, taking inspiration from the Libertines, the Clash and hints of Led Zeppelin - Sargent plays a large variety of rock genres from funk inspired to blues and also indie, writing their own songs having been playing together for the better part of two years. The band released their first EP titled "Victim to the Groove" showcasing a guitar driven rock style.
Joining line up are the 4 piece Chichester Rock band 'The Runners'. Their music takes inspiration from britpop, post-punk and rock styles.
As well as fronting bands across venues, festivals and broadcast events across his beloved county of North Yorkshire and beyond - David Neil Crabtree is fast emerging as a contemporary and highly versatile music talent, with a loyal and rapidly developing fan base spanning Country, Contemporary, Blues, soft and heavy Rock music genres. His current performance catalogue is varied and prolific - from his recent EP release, Girl Named Whisky (available on Spotify) with its contagiously melodic lilt in the gallic, love-ballad tradition, through to the raw, unsettlingly vengeful narrative that underpins his popular and well-acclaimed Wildfire (available on YouTube). Dave’s vocal and guitar expression reflects his own, at times, painful journey through manhood and through the landscapes, at home and abroad, that inspire him constantly to create, compose and perform – for camera and for stage.
