I Am Aquitaine have developed a reputation as a formidable live act. Currently promoting their self-released single ‘Find Me’ – produced by Tobin Jones – the band are renowned for getting the crowd going with their slick new-retro-wave style. Their hint of nostalgic trip-hop, groovy bass lines and heart-melting blues, interweaves with future-facing psychedelic sound effects and catchy-hook choruses, forming the band’s distinct, intoxicating style. Since formation, I Am Aquitaine have played numerous seminal venues across the UK, and most recently supported Alabama 3’s 2017 tour. Choice festival dates have included ‘Aberjazz’ in Wales, two consecutive years at ‘Mudfest’ supporting Toploader, Goldie Lookin’ Chain and Scouting for Girls, as well as playing the Bimble Inn stage at Beautiful Days.
