Bassist Jason Rich, and guitarist Zach Wilmott, knew each other for many years since attending university together, but it wasn't until Autumn 2014 when they reached out online to find vocalist James Gallagher and drummer Tom Lindsay that Pipeline was formed. The band spent the first 6 months or so working on material, both new and ideas written previous to Pipeline, before venturing out onto the live circuit at the start of May 2015. Like all bands their first gig was a big moment for them despite it being on a quiet Sunday night to about 10 people! But since then they've been gigging regularly around the London and Oxford scene, to crowds of gradually increasing size, improving their live performances and fine tuning their sound.
