Bristol based artist Tom Forbes is certainly one to watch in 2018. With his unique sound, (described by some as ‘Space Pop’) constantly developing, it is not only Tom’s music but his quirky stage performance that has lead him to charm audiences across the UK and Europe. Amongst the highlights were playing at Glastonbury Festival and Sofar Sounds Madrid.
Tom’s debut EP ‘Limbo’ was recorded with George Shilling at Bank Cottage Studio. With funky guitars, groovy beats, silky falsetto, and even at times leaning towards his grunge roots, this amalgamation of Tom’s influences makes for this exciting ‘Space Pop’ fusion. Tracks off the EP have had airplay on BBC 6 Music and BBC Introducing. With fresh new material ready to release, Tom is set to get back into the studio early this year just in time for tea!
