We believe the humble music video is a seriously underappreciated art form. In our opinion, nothing makes you feel quite as immersed within an artist’s music – actually, you can’t beat a live show atmosphere for full immersion but we’re definitely biased there.. Our ONE TO WATCH series aims to bring you the latest music videos from some of our most exciting new artists.

Today’s One To Watch is “Instrumental No.1″ by TIMBERTWIG!

Timbertwig play alternative, indie rock. Their music fuses fragile themes with amp sonics and big choruses. The current line-up is Nick Avery guitar and vocals, John Singh (Saucerman) drums and bassist Martin Rodriguez.

Nick was the drummer and founder member of the band Tram, who released two albums with the record label Setanta. Tram worked with John Parish (among others), recorded 3 John Peel Sessions and appeared on XFM, 6Music and Radio 4. After a lengthy hiatus following Tram’s break-up, Nick put aside drums in favour of guitar. Initially playing acoustic songs inspired by Nick Drake and Mazzy Star, he went electric with his new band Timbertwig in 2019.
