With the amount of emerging talent currently bursting onto the scene, it can be hard to keep up with the hottest new acts.

So here at Hot Vox we’re slowing things down and really taking the time to check out one of our favourite new acts.

Today we do a Deep Dive into ALBA.

Here at Hot Vox, the office has been radiating with adoration for Alba’s newly released EP, Questions Unanswered. This EP has a little something for everyone with its thought provoking and insightful lyrics accompanied by a series of intricate guitar solos scattered throughout that are guaranteed to steal the show.

With a total of four songs, this EP takes listeners on a tour through all the emotions starting with the fast-paced and energetic “Are you really free?” This song is sure to keep listeners on their feet with its fantastic rhythm and beautiful instrumentals. Its powerful lyrics, delivered by a rich voice encourage listeners while sending an empowering message that is sure to touch any listener!

Next, we have the equally inspiring “Am I enough?” that reels listeners in with a gorgeous guitar intro that sets the scene for the rest of the song to swoop in with its catchy lyrics and lively, soulful vocals.

The third song on the EP, “What if,” follows in the footsteps of its predecessors by sticking to the upbeat theme that the EP has followed so far. But it takes things just a step further by adding an element of rock with the inclusion of riveting guitar licks and solos that are sure to keep heads banging for the entirety of the song.

The final track on this EP is the brilliant “Why don’t you keep it real?” Blending a bit of everything that we have heard so far on this album, “Why don’t you keep it real?  is the perfect way to end things with its powerful vocals and animated musical backing. This song is guaranteed to keep listeners engaged and thirsty for more.
