Big Huge New Circle are new five-piece band based between Hastings and London. Their debut EP, Diurnal, was recorded at Queens Hall in Cambridge and Somnium Studio in Hastings, and is a tightly-woven knit of the band’s influences, which range from alternative rock, to contemporary classical and experimental jazz. Comprised of Lewis Todd (vocals, production, guitar), Albie Todd (drums), Gabriel Aprino (bass, synth), Judah Daniels (keys, clarinet), and Finlay Waugh (keys, trumpet), Big Huge New Circle offer up powerful and poetic lyrics over a scaffold of off-kilter drum patterns, deep basses, lush synth textures, and ethereal horns.
