Big Sky Orchestra are and rock and Americana band – their concept based on the ethos of the 60/70’s West Coast jam band scene, with a jazz drummer and modern composer on bass. Male and female mixed vocals bring harmonies weaving through 2 lead guitarists.
Heavy improvisation, influenced by late 60s jazz records, replace guitar solos – jams segway through songs as the music demands. Exploration + feedback between audience and musicians is coupled with songs and grooves that can be sang and danced to, a journey can be embarked upon together.
