We believe the humble music video is a seriously underappreciated art form. In our opinion, nothing makes you feel quite as immersed within an artist’s music – actually, you can’t beat a live show atmosphere for full immersion but we’re definitely biased there.. Our ONE TO WATCH series aims to bring you the latest music videos from some of our most exciting new artists.
Today’s One To Watch is Crystal Cruella by San Vito Ryder
dances with your unspoken romance and pleasure cut cults.
SAN VITO created his neo-punk/black drip blues in a pole dancing speakeasy. Like his first two singles “TREE LILY” & “I AM THE KING”, the EP was produced by Luke Oldfield (The Wytches, Metronomy) with The Wytches frontman Kristian Bell behind the drum kit. Kristian Bell reveals that Crystal Cruella “wants death, but she wants to survive it” to kick off the debut single.
Kristian Bell (drums) performs with Simon Hedges (bass) as The Churchbell Silencers who, with San Vito, bring Black Drip Blues next to the forbidden stone.
Death’s breath has no tone.
