Brighton-based four-piece Fractured are a band who try to make sense of life with spiky, punk-inspired melodies, witty, relatable lyrics and boundless energy.
They performed at the 2023 Rebellion Festival in Blackpool and their 2023 album, Cracking Up, was album of the year for the Upcoming Bands website. In 2024, they released a new single every month, receiving extensive airplay and acclaim for tracks including Riot In The Supermarket.
In the words of ‘The Fallen Leaves’, “Fractured take every aspect that was good about punk, but transport it to the now, with witty and relevant commentary on the absurdity of modern life. One of the best groups on the live scene.”

My name is Jeff Hayward, lead vocalist and lyricist of Fractured.
For those that don’t know Fractured, describe your act in just a few sentences.
We’re a Brighton-based four-piece who write spiky, melodic punk songs, summing up the frustrations and anxieties of modern life. We try to make sense of it all wth catchy tunes, witty, relatable lyrics and boundless energy. We performed at the 2023 Rebellion Festival in Blackpool and the 2024 Glastonwick Festival, curated by Attila The Stockbroker.
