Some tracks are so good that you can’t help but hit repeat again and again. We’re lucky enough to experience that feeling quite often with our talented roster, so we thought it would only be fair to share… Today’s TRACK OF THE DAY is Icarus by Weston Day

Somewhere between John Denver and Jon Bon Jovi lies Weston Day. Armed with a campfire punk rock mentality and 8 string baritone acoustic guitar, the forthright punchy vocal lend the Day sound a fresh deep feel.

The live show is upbeat and slightly reckless with one foot firmly in folk and another in late 80 rock /pop with a number of uplifting, infectious and occasionally sentimental tunes that capture his love of playing, hopefully you too will catch hold of the good vibe.

Weston Day is set to kick off the year with Lighten Up, a folk-inspired track releasing in early March. Written during February’s gloom, the song captures the wild beauty of the British countryside and the promise of brighter days.

April will bring Guardian Angel, and later in the year, Weston has big plans for a Vinyl Only debut album.
