Joely Mbundu is a young Belgian-Congolese artist known for her roles in Tori and Lokita by the Dardenne brothers and Green Border by Agnieszka Holland. While acting brought her into the spotlight, Joely explores artistic and philanthropic projects close to her heart. Though not a singer by trade, she uses music as a form of storytelling: “Although singing feels as natural to me as speaking, if I have nothing to say… I don’t sing anything.” Her first song sparked a broader, cinematic music project. Her sound flows from The Cranberries to Roberta Flack, electro-pop to Motown, indie, and hints of jazz.
