Today’s Daily Discovery is Urb Scrunting!

Urb Scrunting is a Singer Songwriter based near Croydon who writes songs influenced by reflections, fantastical creations, surrealism, love, comedy and his own experiences stumbling through life as a young adult in London.

Urb mostly performs solo vocals and acoustic guitar but has at various times had musical partners in crime including most frequently, his friend, clarinetist and star of the music video for his song “Slow Down Geoffrey,” Will Strange.

Urb’s musical influences include Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Dire Straits, The Police, Christy Moore and Newton Faulkner.

Urb’s music has been played on Resonance FM and his song “Sainsbury’s Brixton Local,” received local press coverage.
