Ephraim Maaler

Some tracks are so good that you can’t help but hit repeat again and again. We’re lucky enough to experience that feeling quite often with our talented roster, so we thought it would only be fair to share… Today’s TRACK OF THE DAY is ‘Rain’ by Ephraim Maaler!

Ephraim Maaler are an acoustic- prog duo who have been mastering their craft for a number of years on the London circuit. The band are a must for both fans of the older 70s prog- rock sound, but also the new prog fans who are more partial to the more modern take on the genre found in metal bands such as Opeth and Dream Theater. Throw in a bit of conventional songwriting, taking its cues from the Beatles and Simon and Garfunkel, and then you have Ephraim Maaler. Indeed, they have been described as ‘King Crimson meets Simon and Garfunkel’- not a bad endorsement!
