RISING FEAT : NEWAVE at WAR CHILD

The Event

RISING is a platform that showcases the very best in new music, whilst raising vital funds for War Child UK. Created by London music promoters, Hot Vox, RISING has raised over £500,000 for War Child UK through gigs, showcases & live-streamed performances.

Now, RISING is evolving into a national fundraising competition, seeking out the best RISING talent and providing them with opportunities to push their career to the next level, all whilst raising awareness and vital funds for War Child UK.

RISING will see artists submit a live performance video filmed exclusively for War Child UK. Music fans will then be able to tune in from the comfort of their own homes whilst claiming creative rewards in return for their donations.

The Top 20 artists that raise the most money for War Child UK will have the opportunity to present their music to our expert panel of music industry professionals, which includes festival bookers, booking agents, producers, DJ’s, radio presenters and music journalists.

The panel is tasked with choosing our winner, who will receive a HUGE stack of prizes.

Who will be crowned the best in RISING talent?

Filmed live at Soundstage Studios. For more information visit www.soundstagestudios.co.uk

NEWAVE

getEventBio(), 250, true)?>

Newave are a young, multi cultural jazz band who push the limits of commonly known ‘jazz’ with their own cultural influences. They blend anything from Afrobeat too Bossa nova to allow ‘anyone to dance’ to their beloved music while striving for equality. They have played to crowds of over 300 and sold out shows all over London. These stars from the prestigious Brit School have rapidly broke into the music scene and look to continue push the barrier between ‘jazz’ and ‘pop’ music.
